Jude Bellingham addresses transfer rumors linking him to Liverpool and Manchester united
Bellingham moved to the Bundesliga in July 2020 for £25 million from Birmingham City, his local club.
Since then, the 18-year-old has established himself as one of Europe’s most promising young players and has become a regular for England at the international level.
This has rekindled interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, and other elite teams, but Bellingham has confirmed that he will continue to play for Dortmund next season.

Bellingham told Ruhr Nachrichten BVB when asked about his future and summer transfer rumors:
“The only future I think about is the next game for Dortmund. I look forward to next season. I look forward to it finally starting. But yes, I will be here next season and I will be ready.”
Manchester United made a determined effort two years ago to entice Bellingham to join, recruiting Sir Alex Ferguson to persuade him and give him a tour of the club’s training facilities.
Bellingham was apparently impressed by United’s efforts, but he declined to join them at Old Trafford.
United’s football director John Murtough was said to have led the club’s pursuit of Bellingham in February, but a presentation he gave the young midfielder failed to impress.
Bellingham chose to follow Jadon Sancho to Dortmund since Murtough failed to present him a clear career path.
Sancho has since returned to English football to join Manchester United, and there has been conjecture that Bellingham, a central midfielder, may follow in his footsteps.
Jurgen Klopp, the former Dortmund manager, is said to be a great fan of the adolescent prodigy and has been linked with a move to Anfield.
“I have my destiny in my hands,” Bellingham added, “and I know that if I work hard and trust the people around me, I can move forward.” As a young talent, I came from England.
“There was not much pressure. The first season went well. There were also matches where I sat on the bench and sometimes I did not play at all.
“I think my development this year has meant that I have played a bigger role in every game except two. I am very grateful to Dortmund for the way they have nurtured my talent.
“I think a lot of the credit goes to the coaching staff and the staff who keep the noise around me. In this way I can only focus on winning matches, because that’s what I’m here for.”
When Bellingham made his senior debut in August 2019 at the age of 16 years, 38 days, he became Birmingham’s youngest ever first-team player.
He went on to make 44 first-team appearances before moving to Germany. In 89 appearances for Dortmund, he has scored 10 goals.
