“He will certainly leave Arsenal” Football pundit confirms Arsenal star will depart the club.

Former Manchester United defender Garry Neville has predicted that things could turn “sour” between Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and coach Mikel Arteta.

Arteta has been accused of creating a problem that could see the Arsenal star leave the club in the winter transfer window.

Arsenal suffered a 2-1 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park on Monday night.

Martin Odegaard gave Arsenal the lead, but the host scored two second half goals through Richarlison and Damarai Gray to secure all three points.

One of the talking points of the game was Arteta’s decision to send Eddie Nketiah off the bench by replacing Gabriel Martinelli, instead of Aubameyang.

Nketiah wants to leave the club, as he has reportedly rejected the option to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium. while Aubameyang is the captain of Arsenal.

The Gabon international had to wait until the later stages of the match for his chance. It has prompted pundit Neville to hint that Arteta could be causing him to leave the club.

Speaking on Sky Sports Neville said “I think there will be a problem with Aubameyang off the back of this game

“I don’t think he’ll like the idea of Nketiah coming on. I don’t think he’ll like the idea of being a sub full-stop.”

When asked if it will be an issue “Yeah it is going to. There’s always that little bit of a bug there between Arteta and Aubameyang. he added.

“I know he’s the captain, but he leaves him out and it just feels like it’s something a little bit awkward and it’s going to cause a problem.

“I suspect if Arteta could probably get money for him and get someone else they probably would.

“And I bet if Aubameyang could move on he probably would as well. It maybe could just turn a little bit sour.”

Aubameyang signed a new contract with the club in September 2020 to end the previous speculation about his future.

But recent happening suggests otherwise as he may consider moving elsewhere in the summer.
