Reports; Jurgen Klopp promotes teenage sensation to Liverpool training before FA cup clash as he drops hint on players he’ll use.
Liverpool FC are getting prepared for an FA Cup encounter on Sunday and they will be facing Cardiff city.
The reds boss will be welcoming Cardiff City to Anfield as the Reds look to progress into the fifth round of one of football’s oldest competitions.
According to the rep, Jurgen Klopp has introduced a certain Bobby Clark into senior training ahead of the competition.
The 16-year-old joined Liverpool from Newcastle United last summer and has been a big hit in the Under-18 side this season, netting four goals in all competition.
It has been reported by the Echo that the Liverpool boss invited Clark to train alongside the first team players at Kirkby on Friday afternoon.
The Red’s boss will almost certainly name an under-strength XI – well, he has no choice with so many players still absent – but even still, the former Magpies’ talent won’t be included.
Harvey Elliott made his senior Liverpool debut at the age of 17 and that’ll be Clark’s next goal at Kirkby, to impress Klopp on the pitch.
However, Elliott also had a loan at Blackburn Rovers last season – albeit after his bow for the Reds – and that seemed to transform the youngster.
So a loan move for the young sensation, Clark next season could well set him up nicely.
