Liverpool transfer: Sofyan Amrabat’s price tag makes him the ‘perfect fit’ over Bellingham and Fernandez
Liverpool’s interest in morrocan star Sofyan Amrabat may be a hunt for a less expensive alternative to the other options or maybe an additional player who could be signed alongside a headline name as Liverpool are rumored to be interested in high-profile deals for Jude Bellingham and Enzo Fernandez.
Empire of the Kop was briefed by Foot Mercato’s Anas Bakhkhar during our exclusive conversation about the player’s transfer value for Jurgen Klopp in the next transfer windows:
“Before this World Cup Amrabat was evaluated at €10 million, which would be around £9 million, I think his performances in the World Cup would mean that Fiorentina would ask for a lot more and could want €30 or 40 million minimum to open talks with the player.
“Of the players available for around €30 or 40 million, Amrabat would be the perfect fit for Liverpool.
“We have heard about Jude Bellingham and Enzo Fernandez, Bellingham is linked with many other clubs like Manchester City. Enzo Fernandez has been linked with Barcelona.
Amrabat would be the ideal match between a good price tag and good field performances because Liverpool can financially compete with Barcelona but not Manchester City.
If we lose players like Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, or James Milner this summer, the 26-year-old is undoubtedly a more affordable option for our midfield. He may also be a good option for the team.
