Bundesliga Star midfielder finally decides on a move to Liverpool move after his recent comments

In light of recent statements he made about his future, RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer Laimer has stated he may be open to a transfer to Liverpool.

The Reds are still dabbling’ in contract talks with the 25-year-old, according to a SportBILD report.

However, the player recently spoke with Sky Sports Austria and may have provided his potential next club.

“Nothing has been decided and nothing is excluded,” said Laimer, when questioned about his future.

SportBILD claim Chelsea have been rejected by the Austria international, leaving Jurgen Klopp’s side along with Bayern Munich in the race to secure his signature.

Laimer can sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs starting in January because his contract expires at the end of the current campaign. As a result, the Reds benefit from this.

The 25-year-old hasn’t played much this season due to a syndesmotic ligament injury.

Despite this, he has an excellent total of 244 games played for Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig, in addition to earning 24 caps for Austria.

Laimer would be a valuable addition to Klopp’s starting lineup as a true workaholic in the middle of the field.

Hailed by his club’s official site as ‘a tireless runner’ for the way he covers every blade of grass on the pitch, it makes sense to see the Bundesliga website dub him as ‘the Austrian N’Golo Kante’.

Available to discuss a pre-contract in January, the Reds could acquire his services for free. Even if it looked like he favoured a summer move to Bayern, they could send a cash bid during the winter window, which Leipzig would be likely to accept.
