Done Deal: “There are talks”-Jurgen Klopp drops potential Jude Bellingham transfer hint ahead of Man City clash

Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp has dropped a potential hint about the Reds progress in signing Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham during his press conference on Friday ahead of the Reds’ clash with Man City at the weekend

The 19-year-old is Klopp’s top priority as the summer transfer window approaches as the German tries to restructure his midfield in preparation for the upcoming season.

Having the greatest young midfielder in the world is a fantastic place to start in addressing Liverpool’s poor season’s middle of the park issues.

The Dortmund star is expected to be very expensive, which could be an issue given that the Merseyside club might not play in the Champions League next season.

But, Klopp may have given a clue during his news conference on Friday that Liverpool will aim to sign Bellingham ahead of clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City.

When asked whether the international break was used to plan for next season, Klopp said via Ian Doyle: “I couldn’t plan training sessions as we didn’t know who was here, so yes. Player side, positive. There are talks, but no decisions. We are busy as you can imagine.”

Although this is not transparent, the positive talks with potential signings sounds promising for Liverpool fans, as it is highly likely they would try to wrap up their number one target above the others.
