In a thrilling match at Old Trafford, substitute Jadon Sancho scored his first Premier League goal in nearly four months as Manchester United rallied from a goal down to draw 2-2 with managerless Leeds.
Sancho, who entered the game with United trailing 2-0, tied the score (70) by combining with Luke Shaw down the left after Marcus Rashford had headed the hosts even (62). This was Rashford’s 20th goal of the year in all competitions.
Wilfried Gnonto’s exquisite low drilled effort from the edge of the area gave Leeds, who fired head coach Jesse Marsch on Monday, the lead after just 55 seconds. Early in the second period, Raphael Varane converted a low cross from substitute Crysencio Summerville to give Leeds the lead (48).
