Trent Alexander-Arnold, a standout for Liverpool, is worried that Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal will be more dominant teams in the Premier League this year.

Last season, Liverpool and Alexander-Arnold came within one point of winning the league championship, which was decided by the Reds and Manchester City.

Kante from Spurs can help reduce the gap between City and Liverpool.

Carragher, who subscribes to the Van Dijk theory, advised Liverpool to sign him.

In an effort to overtake Liverpool and Man City, Spurs, Chelsea, and Arsenal have all strengthened their teams this summer.

Both north London teams have poured millions of dollars into raising their standings.

In the previous campaign, Liverpool and City both earned 92 and 93 points, respectively.

Third-place Chelsea, who had a staggering 18 fewer points than the Reds, was their closest competitor.

With 71 points, Spurs finished fourth, beating off Arsenal for the final Champions League position.

The Gunners finished the season with just 69 points due to a dismal performance.

However, Alexander-Arnold thinks those clubs this season will be considerably stronger.

This weekend marks the start of the 2022–23 Premier League season, and the 23-year-old told the Mirror:

“I think the other teams will get closer. The likes of Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are all strengthening.

“There are world-class managers everywhere in the league too.

He is backing his team-mates to push for a first title in three years, though, adding:

“The aim is obviously to win the league. But I think this year could be the one of the hardest ones to win because of the level of opposition.

“It’s gone up another level once again.”

Alexander-Arnold is known as one of the top attacking full-backs in Europe.

The England star has already scored this year; he scored the game’s first goal in Liverpool’s 3-1 Community Shield victory over Man City.
