Jurgen Klopp ready to sell £25m star player to seal deal for dream signing

Latest Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp is willing to sell £25m star player to seal deal for dream signing

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp is ready to sacrifice his star midfielder, to help raise funds for Salzburg youngster Karim Adeyemi.

Klopp is set to cash in on red midfielder Thiago Alcantara in the January transfer window if it helps him in his efforts to land the top young star to Liverpool.

Thiago has been linked with a possible return to his former club Barcelona.
Barcelona’s new manager, Xavi Hernandez, who made his first signing of his reign in Dani Alves is also looking at bringing back the Spaniard and is reportedly willing to offer Liverpool £25m in the winter transfer.

While Klopp will have loved to keep Thiago, he will prioritise the signing of a striker, especially with the departure of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, who will be on duty for their respective countries at the 2021 AFCON competition.

The absence of the duo of Salah and Mane will greatly affect red’s chances of winning the Premier League. With both of them being major contributors to Liverpool’s goals.

With that in mind, Klopp is ready to sign RB Salzburg sensation Karim Adeyemi.

Adeyemi is expected to cost Liverpool around £25m. But with his agent offering the player to some clubs in Spain as well as Germany, they face a much higher price.

Adeyemi has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, Sevilla, and Bayern Munich.

Also, Salzburg are unwilling to sell mid-season and are demanding a huge offer to sell in January.

According to Daily Express Thiago could be sold to boost Liverpool’s transfer and their hopes of landing Adeyemi.

The 19-year-old forward has netted a total of 15 goals in 22 appearances across competitions so far this season.
