Latest update reveals Liverpool has been dealt major blow in pursuit of Bellingham
Liverpool have been dealt a huge blow in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
That’s because the Reds are ‘increasingly unlikely’ to sign the England international once the summer transfer market opens later this year, according to a recent report from The Athletic’s David Ornstein.
The talented youngster, who will follow in the footsteps of Erling Haaland, is destined to become Dortmund’s next high – priced export. Bellingham, 19, is poised to become the sport’s next major star.
One of football’s worst-kept secrets has been Jurgen Klopp’s desire to bring Bellingham to Anfield. The German is known to have high admiration for Bellingham.
🚨 As things stand, Liverpool increasingly unlikely to sign Jude Bellingham this summer. Expected price & financial power of rivals puts #LFC hopes in doubt. Pursuit not off & no firm decisions but sense is #MCFC + #RMFC in stronger position @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/c2bayXcnGq

But it doesn’t seem like Bellingham will be moving anytime soon because Manchester City and Real Madrid are both “in a stronger position” to sign the former Birmingham City player.
Bellingham, who has two years left on his contract and moved from Birmingham to Dortmund, has since appeared in 124 games across all competitions, directly contributing to 44 goals.
