Liverpool sent scouts to watch Galatasaray’s game against Konyaspor last month to monitor the progress of four youngsters.
Yakup Cinar claims that the Reds were keeping an eye on Muhammed Kerem Aktürkoglu, Sacha Boey (right back), Victor Nelson (center defender), and Yunus Akgün (right wing/No. 10). (left-wing).
The Premier League team will continue to monitor their progress during the campaign, but Cinar believes one will particularly catch the attention of Liverpool scouts.
Speaking to Empire of the Kop, Cinar said: “I think they [Liverpool] will follow Yunus and Sacha more closely.”
However, the journalist had a lot of praise for Yunus Akgun and stated: “He [Akgun] is one of the greatest talents that Turkish football has grown in recent years,
“He is very smart and reflects this intelligence on his football. He has the ability to play on the right wing and is number 10.
“His last shot is as good as Michael Owen. The man can pull off and is a very technical football player.”
According to Cinar, Akgun appears to be the player Liverpool could be most interested in signing, and the winger would only cost the Reds €15 million, according to the journalist.
Mohamed Salah recently signed a new three-year contract with Liverpool, but Akgun might end up replacing the 30-year-old Egyptian when it’s time for him to leave.
