Liverpool recieve injury boost as Luis Diaz handed positive injury update ahead of Dubai training camp
As a result of a knee injury, Luis Diaz has been sidelined since early October. There had been some concern that he might return following the conclusion of the World Cup in Qatar, but there has since been an update on his condition.
As reported by Pipe Sierra (via The Anfield Talk):
“He came to the national team head quarters to go through rehab & to enjoy some holidays. He has returned to Liverpool to finalise the process of rehab.
It is anticipated that Luis Diaz would go with the team to Dubai.
In the upcoming weeks, it appears that our No. 23 will make a successful return to the tram, which will be a big boost for Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool fans.
Given the attacker’s standing in world football and the fact that Jordan Henderson was questioned about the Colombian after England’s draw with the United States, it’s a shame he wasn’t able to demonstrate his abilities on the international stage this winter.
The 25-year-old will be planning a comeback to the team and will be hoping that the Reds’ return to domestic play will coincide with an improvement in their form as we look to advance in the Premier League.
