Liverpool set to sign “next Neymar” who is ready to move to Premier League
Liverpool will have felt inspired by the news that Mykhaylo Mudryk would consider a transfer to the English top division if the opportunity presented itself.
The left-winger, who some have compared to the Ukrainian Neymar, has recently been linked to the Reds. He has had a productive start to the 2022–23 season, contributing to five goals in as many games across all competitions (four of which came in the Champions League).
“Yes, yes, it is possible,” the Ukrainian told the Times (the Echo). “The Premier League is the best league in the world and everyone wants to play in this league.”
With dynamic Colombian international Luis Diaz, Jurgen Klopp already has a fantastic option on the left flank.
Nevertheless, with the losses of Divock Origi, Taki Minamino, and Sadio Mane in the summer window, we shouldn’t be hasty to rule out the idea of the club adding more depth to its ranks.
The Reds wing slots upfront three have the least depth of the available positions as things stand.
Given that there is just a four-year difference between Mudryk and the No. 23, it may not fit exactly into the plans Liverpool recruitment team has for the front line’s future, especially given that Diaz will probably be in the prime of his career by the time Mudryk turns 25.
Liverpool will sure keep an eye on the 21-year-old’s progress in Ukraine in a bid to bring him to Anfield if need be.
