Liverpool suffer huge blow as summer transfer target agree terms with Real Madrid
According to reports in France, Liverpool’s efforts to sign Aurelien Tchouameni have been thwarted since he has agreed to join Real Madrid.
Despite being extensively linked with a transfer away from Monaco, the Frenchman emerged as a major target for the Reds ahead of the summer season.

Liverpool are looking to strengthen their midfield this summer, and Tchouameni was one of the players on their radar, despite stiff opposition from Real Madrid.
The Merseyside giants were said to have surged ahead of Los Blancos in the hunt for the 22-year-signature, old’s and he preferred a transfer to Anfield as well.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, had not given up hope of signing Tchouameni and had been in contact with his representatives.
According to RMC, the Spanish giants have won the competition for the Monaco star’s services, which is a setback for Liverpool.
Real Madrid and Monaco have agreed on a cost of around €80 million including additional payments for Tchouameni.
Tchouameni is likely to sign a five-year contract with Real Madrid.
It’s unclear whether the Reds will look for other options in the forthcoming transfer window.
