Liverpool is one of the Premier League clubs that have allegedly made hefty bids and contract offers, according to a detailed report in Sport published today.

The Merseysiders are reportedly trying to entice the Samba sensation to replace Sadio Mane, who joined Bayern Munich in June, according to the Spanish news portal.

The Reds have submitted a bid that is far greater than what Barca has offered. In addition, they have provided a more lucrative wage than what the Brazilian and the Catalan side agreed upon back in March.

Leeds and Chelsea have already reached an agreement on a sum of £60 million, but Raphinha has ordered his agent Deco to disregard the Blues’ offer and concentrate only on Barcelona.

Sport reports that as long as there is a chance that Raphinha will transfer to the Camp Nou, the former Barca and Porto midfielder will keep all English bids off the table.

The 25-year-old is aware that the La Liga giants first want to finalize Robert Lewandowski’s signing and that they would make a move for him once the necessary money are available.

Mateu Alemany keeps urging Leeds to reduce their asking price to a much more reasonable and achievable amount.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana are only willing to pay £43 million (maximum) and are certain they can sign the player.
