According to Calciomercato, Liverpool is interested in a Top serie A world-class talent from inter Milan in Lautaro Martinez, if Roberto Firmino departs the team this summer, the Argentine is reportedly the club’s top target.
This summer, Martinez has emerged as Liverpool’s main target.
The Reds have replaced Sadio Mane with Darwin Nunez, but if Firmino left Anfield, they plan to splurge once more.

The claims that negotiations are advanced were rejected by Jurgen Klopp.
The Liverpool boss referred to Firmino as the “heart and soul” of the team and said he was not planning to let him leave this summer. He spoke to the press:
“Bobby is crucial for us, the heart and soul of this team, the way we played in the last years was only possible because of Bobby.
“That’s why I’m really happy he was able to train for the majority of the time here in pre-season so far.”
He added:
“Everything looks really good so I am absolutely fine. There is no doubt about Bobby’s quality.
“All the rest we will see how this year goes but he is essential for us.”
Inter is still looking to sell players because they need to balance their books.
