Manchester United to tempt star midfielder with a big-money offer to keep him beyond the winter transfer window.
Manchester United are set to keep their star midfielder Paul Pogba beyond his current deal and have reportedly tabled a fresh offer according to reports.
The Red Devils have offered the 28-year-old a huge new contract worth £500,000 per week as they look to tie him down to a new deal.
As per The SUN United have tabled a fresh contract offer in a bid to convince the Frenchman to commit his future to the Old Trafford club.
Pogba’s situation at Old Trafford has been a constant topic of conversation for the past few months as the clock ticks on his current contract, which expires in the summer.
Presently, Pogba is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club this month as he nears the end of his contract at Old Trafford.
The France international has attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, as well as his former club Juventus.
Pogba is yet to decide whether he will stay and sign a new contract at Old Trafford or not, according to the report, but the new deal United is offering him would make him the highest-paid player in Premier League history.
Manchester United’s proposed deal would put him on a basic salary of around £400,000 per week before add-ons.
The report added that Manchester United refusing to sell Pogba this month means it would be the last time to cash in on the Frenchman if he does not sign a new deal with the Premier League outfit.
