Mohamed Salah sent Manchester City message over Liverpool contract
Former Manchester City Right back Danny MIlls has sent warning to Manchester City to avoid considering a move for liverpool super star Mohamed Salah, if he eventually fails to agree a new deal with the reds.
When the Liverpool boss was asked about the contract situation earlier this month, klopp said that Liverpool “cannot do much more” except to wait for Salah’s final decision.
Ex-Manchester City defender Danny Mills has urged the cityzens to steer clear of Salah and questioned how well he would fit into the City squad.
“He’s not the right age profile for City. They’ve got plenty of talent in those positions already,” Mills told Football Insider.
“I’m not saying he wouldn’t get into the team but if he does then another quality player will drop out. Where does he fit into that?
“He’s an outstanding player but is that what City need? Look at Foden, Grealish, Mahrez, Silva, Sterling. They’ve got an abundance of attacking options in those wide areas.”
Mo’ Salah is one of several Liverpool players entering the final phases of their current contracts, but Jurgen Klopp has insisted that the team are unfazed by the speculation.
“No chance! This season everyone is completely committed,” the Liverpool boss said last week.
“Some players don’t play often enough, some aren’t in the squad often enough, they could create a bad atmosphere but they don’t, they will not.
“They have a clear commitment to this team, this season and when it is done, we will talk about the rest, whatever, the future, all these kinds of things.”
