‘Not the end’ – Major Jude Bellingham admission made amid serious Liverpool transfer links

In the midst of mounting rumors that the midfielder is about to make a significant summer transfer, Edin Terzic has acknowledged that Jude Bellingham is “very likely” the greatest player in Borussia Dortmund’s history.

The 19-year-old had improved steadily after moving to the Bundesliga team from Birmingham in 2020, leading his team for the final two games without Marco Reus.

The most recent was a 3-1 victory at Sevilla, and Bellingham’s outstanding solo goal made him the first English teenager to start a Champions League game in that capacity as well as the first young midfielder to score in three straight matches in the league.

The best player to ever wear the yellow of BVB, according to Dortmund manager Terzic, who went one step further than either of Bellingham’s fellow countrymen.

The German manager also suggested that there is still plenty to be done before he reaches his “full” potential.

‘Quite possibly because he’s really playing a very consistent season so far,” Terzic told the press when asked if Bellingham is the club’s best ever player.

“We are very happy with the way he presents himself in training every day. He has already rewarded himself in the Champions League with three goals and that shows the shape he is already in.

“But that’s not the end yet. There is still so much to achieve in his career and we hope we can help him achieve his maximum.’

The pursuit of Bellingham by Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester City in addition to Liverpool is already a heated issue for the upcoming summer transfer season.

The Reds have long admired the former Birmingham youth player, but they will have some tough competition for his services.
