Christian Pulisic discussed his future with Chelsea, stating that he wants more playing time next season While on international duty with the United States.

Despite compatriot Todd Boehly’s takeover at the West London club, this has fueled suspicion that his future could lie elsewhere, with Liverpool being linked with the attacker amid ongoing conjecture surrounding Sadio Mane’s future.

The winger was commenting after his country’s 3-0 friendly victory over Morocco, a game in which he started before being substituted ahead of a friendly against Uruguay. In an interview with reporters, he discussed his future plans and objectives.

He said: “As far as right now, I’m obviously just focused on what I’m doing here. And I’m super excited to be here. And yeah, that’s it.

“Of course, I want to get more playing time. I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well.

“I think I still got a lot of games, but it’s always something that I’m working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team.”

The attacker, who has 21 goals in 49 appearances for his country, has already spoken about his future at the club, telling Metro that he has met the new owners and is looking forward to the future. This could alter if he remains a rotation option in Thomas Tuchel’s plans.

“At the end of the season, we were able to meet with them and they were around the club a lot. They are really good people so I’m excited moving forward.
