Trent Alexander-Arnold once again displayed his incredible passing prowess when he found Diogo Jota for Liverpool’s controversial penalty against Crystal Palace.

Alexander-Arnold is not exactly your conventional right-back and is undoubtedly the most creative player in the Liverpool team under Jurgen Klopp.

The fullback has a passing range that has drawn comparisons to some of the greatest passers in Premier League history, including Kevin de Bruyne and David Beckham and Xabi Alonso.

In the game against Crystal Palace, he showed how good he is, with his last incredible pass, which led to the incident where Vicente Guaita brought down Jota, late in the game, launching him from his own half to find the striker’s run.

The decision to give a penalty on the end of Trent’s pass, with Jota looking to have run into Guaita, and having no chance to win the ball, caused an outcry.

Liverpool were in control haven taken an early 2–0 lead in the game, with Virgil van Dijk heading in a goal from a corner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain doubling the lead.

Palace came from behind late in the first half and could have scored two goals, were it not for a couple of excellent saves from Alisson on the Reds’ goal.

Odsonne Edouard did make it 2-1, after just 10 minutes of the second half, and Patrick Vieira’s team looked most likely to score again, but Alisson kept making brilliant saves keeping his team lead intact.
