Jurgen Klopp was asked for his opinion on how he believes the league is looking and will develop come the end of May next year.
This season’s league campaign has undoubtedly not gone as planned or as they all would have hoped.
Klopp was questioned about the competitiveness of the Premier League and his team’s chances of ultimate triumph while speaking with the media prior to the Leeds encounter.
The German replied: “City is not running away which makes it already more competitive there is not only one team, or two teams up front – there are three, four, five teams. My problem with that only is that we are not one of them.”
Well, the Reds are capable of putting together a run of victories and rapidly moving up the league despite a number of setbacks so far, but it will all rely on whether they are too far behind whenever they are able to put a run together.
