(VIDEO) Watch: Sadio Mane finally speak out over Liverpool’s future amid Bayern link
Liverpool star winger Sadio Mane has finally opened up concerning his future at Anfield
Sadio Mane’s future at Liverpool has been one of the most talked-about subjects, with fans and experts alike speculating if the Senegalese superstar will leave the club this summer.
The former Southampton forward is coming towards the end of his current contract and is yet to agree to a new deal with the Merseyside giants. As a result, it has been reported that the African Cup of Nations winner will depart Anfield in the summer transfer window.
Mane has already chosen to quit the club, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. The winger was first focused on the UEFA Champions League final, according to the Italian journalist, but after losing the game 1-0 to Real Madrid, he chose his future.
Sadio had kept mute on the subject, for the most part, only offering a cryptic comment when asked about it in the build-up to last weekend’s match against Los Blancos. Mane, on the other hand, has now broken his silence, giving the biggest hint yet that he is on his way out.
The 30-year-old spoke at a press conference for the Lions of Teranga’s upcoming AFCON qualifier against Benin and was told that the majority of Senegalese, somewhere between 60-70 per cent, wish to see him leave Liverpool. This resulted in a shockingly candid response from the Anfield fan-favorite.

“Isn’t it between 60 to 70 per cent of Senegalese that want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they want. We will see soon!” Sadio said in response.
Is this a sign that he’ll be leaving? Regarding Bayern Munich, it’s difficult to read his statements any other way.
Mane is under contract until June 2023, it is unclear whether the Bayern Munich will pay Liverpool’s asking price for the star forward.
