Worrying signs that shows how Mohamed Salah’s form has declined since AFCON
Liverpool secured a 2-0 victory over Watford on Saturday in the Premier League to keep their fight for the title race alive.
It’s safe to say Mohamed Salah was not at his best against Watford. The Egyptian was subbed off after 70 minutes, having failed to fire a single shot on target.
According to Sqauwka, this is only the second time when this has happened to Salah since he started a Premier League game at Anfield this season. The last time out was against Southampton back in November – but the forward registered an assist there.
Perhaps a more worrying statistic is one describing Salah’s goal-scoring form over the last few months since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

In 13 appearances for club and country since then, the Egyptian has scored just two goals from open play, along with three goals from the penalty spot.
one would never bet against Salah, considering his outstanding record for Liverpool. Still, it would be nice if he found scoring boots as soon as possible as Liverpool enters the crucial phase of the season.
